STEP 15- APPRECIATE

Appreciate your relationships; carry your spouse and family along. Of what use is a goal achieved if you have no one to share life with? Life is about relationships with God and people. While pursuing a goal can make you feel alone, we all have emotional needs that we need others to satisfy. Make a concerted effort to nourish and attend to the godly relationships you have. Your spouse and children should never have to suffer because you have a goal. Never put your family at risk for a goal. You might have to spend some extra money to attend to your chores or get extra help on the mundane things. You might have to leverage grocery delivery, meal preps, and cleaners, so that you buy back part of your time to spend with family. It is important to respect our differences; not every spouse will be interested in your goals.  Ensure your goals do not destroy your family. God hates divorce, so a God-given vision should not tie apart your marriage. Go back to God for wisdom if a vision causes conflict in your marriage. I have a few wise male and female friends who are rooted in God's Word and entrepreneurs too. When I share my challenges with them, they give me Godly, biblical, and practical solutions and hold me to a high standard. They help keep me in check.
