Judas was part of the 12 disciples that hung out with Jesus. Do not play Russian roulette with your destiny, because you met them in on the pews or on the pulpit does not mean they are good for you. Check out their fruits, their reputation, their relationships and how they treat others. Pray before you choose, ask for God's guidance.
Do not ignore any bad fruit observed, as God might just be warning you. No one is perfect but certain fruits should make you tread with caution or even qualify as deal breakers! Behaviors such as violence, addictions, unreasonable debts, infidelity, criminality, numerous failed relationships, inability to keep a job, patterns of relation in their family should never be ignored. We all have our past that we have forsaken and God has graciously forgiven us of. If certain fruits are still "present" in the present time, you need to be very careful.
